Welcome to TrueNationalChampion.com!

The creators of this site would like to see a College Football Playoff implemented just like every other division of College Football, which would mean that all Division 1 (Bowl Subdivision) Conference Champions along with 5 at large bids would form a 16 team Playoff each year. The Bowl system and Bowl games do not have to be dismantled in having a Playoff. That is not what we are proposing.

Let’s be real. The BCS is all about keeping money in the conferences of the 6 “Power Conferences.” All excuses that those in BCS conferences give for not having a Playoff are just that, excuses! They have the money, and they don’t want to and don’t feel they need to share. The other 5 non BCS Conferences are put at a financial disadvantage in football, but also in their whole athletic budgets. Arguments about why non BCS schools should not be able to compete for a BCS National Championship due to “strength of schedule” and “level of competition” are more realistically about keeping the legacy of schools and conferences, along with money in the BCS conferences.

Our proposed solution would allow every football player in Division 1 the same benefits that every other Athlete in every other Division 1 sport has, which is the opportunity to compete each year for a National Championship! That is the mission of this site. If you agree with this, please sign our petition and tell other College Football fans, players, coaches, administrators and sponsors of College Football, ALONG WITH ELECTED GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS to sign our petition and help this cause.

All the signatures collected from this petition will be forwarded at the end of every College Football season to each of the following: Presidents and Chancellors of each BCS School, each of the Conference Commissioners of BCS Conferences, the AD (Athletic Director) Advisory Group , and the NCAA. We also encourage you to individually contact the Presidents and Athletic Directors of Division 1 Universities, along with each of the 11 Conference Commissioners in Division 1 and inform them of your individual desire to see a College Football playoff implemented. The fans pay for tickets, drive ratings that bring the $125 million TV Contracts, and bring multimillion dollar sponsorships. When the fans unite, the Presidents of the Universities and Conference Commissioners will listen, and a Playoff can and will happen!

Simply, we agree with the Senator Hatch in this interview:
